Healthy body, healthy spirit, healthy mothering. This is the journey I have set out on with my two amazing children.

I am sick as the proverbial dog. Stupid quitting of the stupid cigarettes. 19 years of smoking does not go away easily.

I am listening to Metallica & making a delicious (I hope) pot of soup. White beans w/ pork, onions, carrots & tomatoes. Should be yummy.

Hi Tia,

Thanks for the swing by.

You CAN do it. I have now been smoke free for 2 1/2 years. It almost killed me to quit - especially as I had on and off through all my life.

Now I'm working out, green tea drinking, feeling great. You have to be there for your kids - no ifs, ands or buts.

I also didn't want my kids to grow up with a smoking mother.

I had to use Zyban and the patch, and it was journey. I quit when I just "turned the page" in my mind and was DONE.

You can do it. And Audioslave is great for when you have those pissy days. It gets easier........promise.

Oh it does get easier. And eventually you'll scarcely remember that you were a smoker. I quit 28 years ago when I knew I wanted kidlets. I've never looked back. The first month or two are the hardest. One puff though, and you're back to square one. Believe that, if nothing else.
